Newham Language Shop’s purpose is to provide users with high quality and confidential translation and interpreting services in over 100 languages and dialects including British Sign Language and Braille.

Our Commitment to you:

To assist non-English speakers improve their daily lives by being able to make informed decisions and choices by knowing more about services they can use.
To communicate advice andinformation promoting services and sources to non-English speakers.
Whenever possible to employ translators and interpreters from the local community.
To keep aware of fresh cultural and linguistic needs as new communities emerge and to recruit from them.
To constantly develop understanding of how non-English speakers communicate and tailor our services to their requirements.
To help other organisations set up systems and procedures that make it easier for non-English speakers to make comments or complaints to them.
